Practice Final Exam Excel

The Microsoft Word questions that you answered on Thursday were very difficult. I will show everyone on Monday how to complete the questions you were having trouble answering. Don't worry, once I demomstrate, you will see how easy the questions really are.

I scheduled the Practice Final Exam for Excel. I went through the entire exam and I got every question right and you should be able to also. Here are a few tips:

Question 1:
This is asking you to make the cell an absolute reference, remember, press f4 to make the cell an absolute reference.

Question 5:
Click the merge and center icon.

Question 7:
Press the delete button

Question 9:
Pick the finacial category and then scroll down to find PMT

Question 11:
Click the cut icon (it is a pair of scissors) that is location on the left of the ribbon.

Question 12:
Right mouse click and pick delete and then click ok to shift cells up.

Question 13:
Right mouse click and pick delete.

Question 20:
Click the format painter icon (it looks like a paint brush) that is located on the left of the ribbon.

Question 21:
Click the Layout Tab (underneath Chart Tools) and then click the down arrow by Data Labels. Choose More Data Labels Options. Place a check mark next to Value and uncheck the category name.

Question 22:
Click the Format Tab (underneath Chart Tools) and then click the more options arrow in the Shape styles group. A galley of all the different styles will appear and then pick the style that is in column 3 row 4.

Question 24:
Click the Autosum icon on the right side of the ribbon

Question 26:
Click the icon that looks like a dollar sign.

Question 29:
Click the icon located in the Alignment group that displays ab and an arrow. (That is the rotate text icon) Then pick Angle Counterclockwise.

Question 32:
Click right above row 1 on the area that looks like a white triangle.

Question 33:
Right underneath the autosum icon, there is an icon that looks like a blue arrow pointing down. (Fill series icon) Click on it and then click on Series, click Month.

Question 35:
Click the merge and center icon.

Question 39
Type =sum(hours)*sum(words)
