The Business Department started WorkKeys Wednesday! Yes, I know it is Thursday but we are going to start today. Take a few minutes and answer the 3 questions below.

GWAM (Gross Words A Minute) is the calculation of keyboarding speed by taking the total words keyed and dividing by the time allowed. For example, keyboarding a total of 90 words in a three minute timing would mean 90/3 = 30 gross words per minute or 30 GWAM. There is no deduction for errors when calculating GWAM.

PowerPoint Chapter 4

Today we will start PowerPoint Chapter 4. It starts on page PPT 226. I already assigned the vocabulary for this chapter and the flash cards. Did you complete them yet? Check the grade book!

Today is the last day to work on your Project

I will have a folder for you to save your project on the P:drive. Tomorrow we will start chapter 4 for PowerPoint.

Make sure you finished your vocabulary for PowerPoint chapter 4 and the flashcards for chapter 4.

Your Exam for PowerPoint chapter 3 is today, go to SaM. When you are done with the test you have Chapter 4 Vocabualry terms to start on. I will send the vocab to your computer.

I need everyone to take their Dual Credit Form and get it signed tonight! If I don't get it back by Friday you will not get your dual credit from Moraine Valley!

Welcome back to Computer Apps

Today we will be going over the assignments I assigned for this past Monday. I will be grading them tomorrow. You also need to hand in your vocabulary assignment because it is worth 35 points. Also, make sure you hand in your flashcards, they are worth 30 points.
