Power Point-Working with Information Graphics

The Business Department started WorkKeys Wednesday! Yes, I know it is Thursday but we are going to start today. Take a few minutes and answer the 3 questions below.

GWAM (Gross Words A Minute) is the calculation of keyboarding speed by taking the total words keyed and dividing by the time allowed. For example, keyboarding a total of 90 words in a three minute timing would mean 90/3 = 30 gross words per minute or 30 GWAM. There is no deduction for errors when calculating GWAM.

Susie keyed 235 words with 3 errors when she took her 5 minute timing. What was her GWAM?

d. 35

John keyed 66 words with 0 errors when he took his 3 minute timing. What was his GWAM?
